Life doesn't wait while you try to get it right.
The world revolves around pretense and perceived value. Very little goes into wholesome, down to earth experiences. Carriage House is not about putting you on a horse or donkey with a beer in your hand and calling it a "Cowboy Adventure". It's not about regimented patterns in a ring with a judge critiquing your movements.
Call it what you will, but to enjoy your animal in a comfortable setting that gives you and your horse or donkey pleasure is what it's all about. The people at Carriage House have worked rodeo's, have chased coyotes on the prairies on horseback, have been stomped and beat up, have worked brandings, have roped from horseback, have wrestled wild prairie boars and are members of the Canadian Cowboys Association. Too many people fancy themselves "Cowboys", but unless you've smashed your nose and lips bloody with the sting of manure mixed in, you're not even close. It's not how well you sit a horse, it's what you survive and the way you look after your horse doing that. So......just take it easy and enjoy your animal. Stop trying so hard. Look at the sky and enjoy a sunset.
